My name is Sarah Bennett and I have been a graphic designer for many years, but it was only when I designed a book that I discovered my true calling. The combination of tradition, fussiness and creativity called for in book design appeals greatly to me, and creating a printed book never ceases to bring me joy.
I started out designing poetry books. I love poetry anyway, and I really love bringing it to life in the pages of a handsome book. Although I also work with traditional publishers, I have found a wonderful niche helping poets and poetry collaboratives across the country design and publish their work.
I have done plenty of other types of books as well. In fact, most of my current book projects are NOT poetry. No matter what kind of book you are contemplating, I look forward to talking with you about your project.
